(NEW YORK) -- Mexican cement maker Cemex SAB de CV said Thursday it will sell its Austrian and Hungarian operations to Strabag SE, as Austrian building products company, for 310 million euros ($483.9 million).
Cemex said it will use the proceeds from the sale to reduce its debt, adding that the deal's closing is subject to approval from regulatory bodies and Strabag's supervisory board.
